Well the vacation in Buenos Aires is over. There is not a whole lot to report really. We saw family and friends, enjoyed the summer, ate like pigs, did some shopping... and not much more. It was the kind of vacation where emotions got a bigger feast than the senses.
There are of course a few hundred pictures, and they are mostly about people (see the link on the right). Here's a few of my favorite:
Kumar and Gwen checking e-mail together

My mom showing off her new yukata

My dad and Gwen taking an afternoon nap

Jorge and Jack fishing

Susana showing off her "telar"

Tobi posing for me during the catamaran ride (he was the most willing model knowing that his picture would be on my blog)

Pato & Vanu... and the Argentine flag

That's all for now... Happy 2007.

The temps in Michigan are in the twenties and the running for the first 15 min. is miserable - Looking at your summer pics are enough to warm my frostbitten cheeks. The clouds in the Plaza Mitre #52 were very cooperative...Along with the awesome rubber tree..It's alive!!
Hi Silvina - I'm wishing right now I hadn't looked at the pictures from BA - how can I possibly be homesick? I recognize the house and Fernando but can't recall the owner - I remember having an asado there when the house was being built and the pool wasn't there. Boy we miss you guys, let us know when you'll be in Michigan again.
